Custom paper sizes are important for many distinct reasons. For one thing they permit customization to nearly any size without loss of quality. In a perfect world, all newspapers would be indistinguishable. This may never be the case as character has always had a way of stretching and punctuation check shrinking paper sizes. To print custom paper sizes correctly, identify the custom size in the printer’s printing driver and on the total printer control panel. Make sure that you specify exactly the same custom size in the print driver as the paper already in the tray. If not, when starting up the printer, make sure that the”eco” button is set to”auto” This will make sure that the machine chooses the custom paper size automatically. If the”eco” button is disabled on your printer settings, use the arrow keys on your keyboard or search for the proper option in the Printer Control Panel and disable it.
In older versions of Windows, there was a setting known as”page orientation” in your printer settings dialog box. This essentially dictated how you seen the document when in landscape or portrait mode. Now-a-days, there is no such setting, however the default option is”landscape” as it is shown in Windows 10. You may wish to alter this to”portrait” in your printer settings if you are frequently using portrait mode and find yourself seeing documents in landscape mode more often. You will now be able to select custom sizes from Microsoft Word to create and save customized dimensions for documents.
